Hi Reader

While I'm typing this mail to you the clouds outside are rolling in over the hills and I'm thrown back to the misty mornings in Swakopmund, Namibia. I just got back from an awesome journey, a thrilling escape combining exploration with a touch of work.

This trip marked my longest holiday in a very long time, and I must say, integrating work amidst the vast landscapes was both exhilarating and refreshing.

Both the trip and my work were meticulously planned. I prepped all social media content and allowed myself a buffer to transition back into work mode. The work I integrated while "on the road" was about keeping up with things. It was a tryout, to see if it would be possible to combine leisure and work. And I have to say, it was a wonderful experience and made me think about more possibilities!

Answering questions from my coaching clients while watching the sunrise in calm and scenic surroundings has something magical. It also inspired me to reflect on a couple of things. And by coincidence, I was reading Slow Productivity from Cal Newport! Funny how all of a sudden all these things come together 😊

I had planned various activities, going from a hot-air balloon flight to a kayaking trip to a seal colony and searching for little desert animals. It's hard to just pick one highlight. I believe the combination of it all made the trip complete. And yes, of course I went to see Deadvlei and got my picture of the iconic desert!

Amidst the journey, there was also time for celebration —I reached an incredible milestone of 4 consecutive years of daily walks - #walkingeverydamnday for 1460 days! In light of that achievement and to celebrate all it brought into my life, I'm gearing up for an exciting new edition of #60daystodiscover, a 60-day well-being challenge! Stay tuned for more updates on that pretty soon!

Namibia is a destination that has been on my vision board for quite some time, often postponed due to various reasons. Yet, the fact that I'm sharing memories about this recent adventure serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience of our vision and dreams!

It underscores a valuable lesson I often share with my coaching clients—that with unwavering determination and deliberate planning, even the craziest dreams can materialize.

This journey to Namibia is a testament to the notion that persistence pays off. It's a great example of how aligning our intentions with focused action can transform dreams into realities.

As you explore the landscapes of your dreams, I hope you can draw inspiration from the belief that nothing is truly out of reach when you commit yourself wholeheartedly to its pursuit! You can make it happen, even if it takes you longer than you have in mind.

Sending you lots of love from South Africa and looking forward to sharing more about the #60daystodiscoverchallenge soon!
