Put up a fight, just not with yourself 🙄

Published 2 months ago â€Ē 1 min read

Hey Reader

I hope this email finds you in great spirits and ready to conquer the week ahead! 🌟

Today, I want to share a thought that's been on my mind lately – the importance of picking our battles and setting boundaries to make our lives a little lighter.

Life has a funny way of throwing curveballs our way (I've become really good at dodging them ðŸŦĢ), and it's easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of responsibilities, expectations, and challenges.

But here's the thing: putting up a fight ðŸĨŠ doesn't always mean taking on everything that comes our way. Sometimes, the bravest and most empowering choice we can make is to step back, reassess, and choose our battles wisely.

And that fight shouldn't be with yourself!

Picture it as a game – you're the player, and life is the opponent. The key is not to fight every battle but to focus on the ones that truly matter. Setting boundaries doesn't make you weak; it makes you strategic. It allows you to conserve your energy for the battles that align with your goals, values, and well-being.

So, let's make a pact to be kinder to ourselves...

Instead of juggling a million things at once this week, let's prioritize what truly matters.

What is one thing you would like to accomplish this week?

Whether it's your personal or professional life, identify the battles that contribute to your growth, happiness, and peace of mind. Remember, it's okay to say no, delegate tasks, and take a step back when needed.

Life is a journey, not a sprint. By picking our battles and setting boundaries, we're not only making our lives easier but also creating space for joy, fulfillment, and success 👊ðŸŧ

As you navigate 🧭 this week, I challenge you to reflect on the battles that truly deserve your energy and attention. Let's choose progress over perfection, courage over chaos, and self-love over self-criticism. Together, we can create a life that's not busy but truly meaningful.

Stay strong, stay focused, and always remember – you're capable of incredible things!

Sending you heaps of positive vibes and motivation from South Africa!

View in browser If you had told me twenty years ago I would be typing this mail to you Reader, I would not have believed it myself. But the fact that you are reading it means it happened 😆 Today marks the day of my 20 years of entrepreneurial journey, 20 years of growth, resilience, and endless possibilities. 🎉 On 04/04/2004, I leaped into the world of entrepreneurship, starting with a simple request to work four days a week instead of five in my then-corporate job. I was ready to start my...

View in browser Don't you just love it Reader when people make something look very simple but more than often it is far from easy to get it done! Oh, Peggy, going for a 5K run, is very simple (advice from a marathon runner 😆), just put one foot in front of the other, do this at a faster speed than walking, and just as long until you get your 5K done 😂 Until I put on my running shoes and hit that first uphill ðŸĨĩ It might be SIMPLE but NOT EASY! After the - it's simple for you to say - thought,...
