Simple but far from easy 😬

Don't you just love it Reader when people make something look very simple but more than often it is far from easy to get it done!

Oh, Peggy, going for a 5K run, is very simple (advice from a marathon runner 😆), just put one foot in front of the other, do this at a faster speed than walking, and just as long until you get your 5K done 😂 Until I put on my running shoes and hit that first uphill 🥵 It might be SIMPLE but NOT EASY!

After the - it's simple for you to say - thought, I realized however that I do exactly the same with some of the things I master, find simple and easy 🫣

Ever notice how every time you embark on something new, you step out of your comfort zone? What seems simple to others might not be easy for you initially. Whether it's learning a new skill, starting a business, or even just trying a new hobby, the first steps can often feel daunting and overwhelming.

But here's the thing: with a bit of patience, practice, and perseverance, what once seemed daunting becomes second nature. That 5K run that felt like climbing Mount Everest? Eventually, it becomes a refreshing and invigorating part of your routine. I am not there yet 😂 and that uphill still feels like Mount Everest, not that I have ever climbed it but you know what I mean 😬 🗻

So, the next time you find yourself facing a challenge that seems simple but not easy, remember this: give yourself the grace to grow, the space to learn, and the time to master. Before you know it, what once felt like a daunting and overwhelming task will become as simple and easy as tying your shoelaces.

Keep pushing forward, Reader, and remember that simplicity often lies on the other side of perseverance. You've got this! 🚀✨

Hope you have a great week ahead!

P.S. If there is anything you are struggling with for the moment that feels like a 🗻 to climb, then let me know, a vision and a plan might just be the thing you need to get you going!

But the fact that you are reading it means it happened 😆 Today marks the day of my 20 years of entrepreneurial journey, 20 years of growth, resilience, and endless possibilities. 🎉 On 04/04/2004, I leaped into the world of entrepreneurship, starting with a simple request to work four days a week instead of five in my then-corporate job. I was ready to start my...

View in browser I made a brave decision, I'm simplifying the ways to work with me and even while I'm typing this, it feels scary 😬 The fact that it scares me shows how engrained that having "more" is perceived as being better. I however know that this is the best way forward. Because the way it was going now was not contributing to my bigger vision. While I thought I was doing good, I was overcomplicating everything at the same time 🫣 So back to the drawing board it was! I reflected, slowed...
