The power of embracing small steps ✨

Hi Reader

While I'm typing this mail, I'm thinking about the past weeks, and how packed my planner was. Each day was purposeful, contributing to the realization of my long-term vision 🙏🏼

Patiently crafting the way so that I can turn my vision into reality, with every step I'm taking. Sometimes they are big leaps, but most of the time they are very small steps and you can hardly see any progress 🫣

A younger version of myself would then become impatient, it wasn't going fast enough, and I would want it all at once. Ok, I have to admit that the current version can still fall into this trap of "wanting to have it all at once" 😆 That's why they call it a journey with ups and downs, a rollercoaster 🎢

Embracing taking small steps has had such a transformative impact on my approach to getting closer to achieving my dreams and goals. In the past I would feel overwhelmed very quickly, not knowing where to start. Wondering how everybody else was doing what they were doing. What their magic formula was ✨

When I put something out in the world and it wasn't successful from day one I would throw out the baby with the bathwater 😰 By the way, I would have the same approach with any personal goals as well 😖 Resulting in starting over and over again. Can you guess how this got me closer to my goals?!

Not a meter, not even an inch! I would stay put, pivoting in one place. And the worst part, I didn't even realize what I was doing. Besides sulking that I would never be truly successful in anything 😭

That was until I started to embrace a long-term vision, have a plan, and celebrate my daily wins!

Maybe even more importantly, breaking down my overwhelming goals into manageable tasks. And this goes for both my business and my personal life.

Yes, my ultimate goal is that I can say that more than 4444 people (or more) have enrolled in Visionary Women, that I'm walking the path of financial freedom, and that I've (finally) reached my ideal weight. By the way, I've got a couple more goals than just these...

Looking at this a couple of years ago I would shake my head, turn around, and run as fast as I could. Now I'm confident that I will make it happen, just not by tomorrow 🤪

Until then I'll celebrate every person who says YES to Visionary Women, every step I took to create that financial freedom, and every 100gr I managed to get closer to that ideal weight. I'll embrace those small steps every single time!

How about you Reader where could you be a bit more gentle with yourself and the way you approach getting things done? Hit reply, and tell me all about it, I'll be waiting on the other side ☕️

But the fact that you are reading it means it happened 😆 Today marks the day of my 20 years of entrepreneurial journey, 20 years of growth, resilience, and endless possibilities. 🎉 On 04/04/2004, I leaped into the world of entrepreneurship, starting with a simple request to work four days a week instead of five in my then-corporate job. I was ready to start my...

View in browser Don't you just love it Reader when people make something look very simple but more than often it is far from easy to get it done! Oh, Peggy, going for a 5K run, is very simple (advice from a marathon runner 😆), just put one foot in front of the other, do this at a faster speed than walking, and just as long until you get your 5K done 😂 Until I put on my running shoes and hit that first uphill 🥵 It might be SIMPLE but NOT EASY! After the - it's simple for you to say - thought,...
